The Northwest Buffalo Community Center has seen its involvement in the afterschool world continue to grow by leaps and bounds. Northwest currently holds a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant and two Extended School Day/School Violence Prevention grants.
As it has for the past 15 years, Northwest’s primary goal is to provide the highest in quality learning activities for city of Buffalo children who choose to engage our academic courses. Students who actively take part in our successful afterschool classes have clearly seen improvement in their grades and on test scores.

At Northwest, we have several partnerships which allow us to deliver a variety of opportunities and services to our families. We are grateful for the continued support from Buffalo Public Schools, Say Yes to Education, Police Athletic League, and many other valuable partners.
