COVID-19 Update
Due to the recent spike in COVID-19 infections in the City of Buffalo, the Northwest Buffalo Community Center is temporarily closing IN-PERSON senior program activities at 155 Lawn Avenue effective close of business on November 13, 2020. We are making this current closure to live, in-person activities like Bingo, Lunch, Exercise class, and other group activities in an effort to keep our seniors safer.
We will be contacting our senior members about possible remote activities until we are ready to re-open. The program will resume when the COVID-19 infection rate in the City of Buffalo declines to a safer level. If you have any questions about the senior program, please call Senior Program Director, Anne Maliszczak at 876-8108; ext. 17.
The Transportation component for medical appointments and grocery trips remains on-going with all COVID-19 safety precautions in place.
Senior citizens may take advantage of all NWBCC, Inc. has to offer; such as a hot meal five days a week and various group activities. Eligible seniors must be 60 years of age or older to qualify for services and Nutrition Program. We welcome your suggestions on improving the program and encourage you to let us know about activities you wish to experience!
