The Northwest Buffalo Community Center Youth Program provides supervised programming for youth ages 6-19 years old in a variety of programs geared to assist the child educationally and socially with an academic improvement program which provides educational assistance in most subjects.

RECREATIONAL PROGRAMMING

Our youth program provides supervised play, instruction in sports, recreation, arts, crafts, and special events programming. We offer summer day camp as well as teen discussion groups and conflict resolution programs.  Participants should live in Riverside/Black Rock, and be between 6 and 19 years of age.

 

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

NWBCC offers an Academic Improvement Program.  This program provides educational assistance in most subjects for students in grades 1 – 12.  The program operates Monday – Friday, 3 pm – 7 pm.

 

BOXING PROGRAM

Don Patterson is the coach. Mr. Patterson is Vice President of the Niagara Region of the AAU Boxing Association and a member of the USA Olympic Coaching Fraternity. Mr. Patterson is also the head of the Golden Gloves tournament and has over 20 years experience working with youth.
